Just another decent Alchemist release

"Alchemist is one of my favorite hip-hop producers and has always collaborated with some great hip-hop acts along the lines of Mobb Deep, Dilated Peoples, Swollen Members, Defari, and the like, and helped craft some of their best material, but none of his solo releases had ever made me stand up and take notice, Chemical Warfare being no different. The problem might just lay in the producer mixtape formula of involving too many different acts, everything just ends up seeming flustered and not very consistent. The best Lp I've heard from this formula is probably Mugg's Soul Assassins II, and even that is still not a classic. These types of albums just never stay with you for long. Chemical Warfare is filled with many solid beats, but nothing extraordinary. If you are looking for a classic Alchemist Lp from start to finish, pick up his work with Prodigy on their Return of the Mac album which is one of the best rap albums made in the last few years. This is not worth your money."
Great Installment

"i don't get the low reviews for this one....why?...its good, i mean the production is great, the beats are quality...the only downfall is when alchemist try's to spit. hes not a good rapper. but when he has big names like prodigy and snoop dogg droppin verses it all comes together. i would recommend this to any friend of mine. it wasn't ground breaking material but it was worth honorable mention."
Good effort from the alc

"this cd is fire however some of the choices for emcess is a lil different which can sometimes not be good. the alc came a lil different than usual on this one. he still has a signiture sound however you can tell he did try a lil different formula on some tracks. most of it works a few misses but all in all it is a good effort.not as good as no days off but def worth the 12 dollars. real hip ho fans support this cd we need to put real hip hop back in the forefront!"
