"This is simply a fantastic double album. The lyrics are written by poet George Kavadias and they are inspired by his travels around the world working on merchant ships. Each poem is a story about some character he met during his travels. Mikroutsikos does an amazing job writing music for Kavadias' poems. The atmosphere he creates is spellbinding. Finally, you couldn't ask for better artists to sing the songs: Dalaras, the Katsimiha brothers, and Papakostantinou. They give powerful performances and add their own personal touches to the songs. The album is really a collaborative work between poet, musician, and singers and the result is sublime."
