Lyricist and co-vocalist Nathan Moore has long personified the postmodern troubadour, traveling to play for his meals, praising the virtues of vice. And when paired with his vocal foil, bassist Aimee Curl, the drifter's words leap beyond his capable voice into the haunt of her beautiful warble. But on this latest release by ThaMuseMeant, the long-running and always-struggling project of Moore, Curl, mandolinist David Tiller, and violinist Enion Pelta, their complementarity has reached a zenith.
