"This was my very first TLB album, picked up early in my search for the deep-house/tech-house sound. I now own all 5 Terry's Cafe albums, in addition to the fact that this album, more than any other, made me go out and buy a pair of tables and become a DJ. I now spin Terry's music all the time. TLB, along with other visionaries such as the Timewriter, G-Pal, and Pat Foosheen, consistently lay down nothing but the best in deep, dark, enveloping stereophonic house, a sound you can feel more than hear.Terry's picks are outstanding, with the Timewriter's sweepingly beautiful remix of the Ananda Project's anthemic "Glory Glory," the one-two punch of mesmerizers "New Life" by Drainpipe and
"Anyway From You" by G-Pal, Plastic City regulars The Kelly Project's "Home at Last," and an excellent selection in the form if Hi-Lo's "Blow Out Connection." The mixing is utterly smooth and seductive, leaving you craving for more by the time the album is over.If you dig this kind of house, do yourself a favor and start a vinyl collection... trust me, there's enough stuff out there to blow your mind every day for years. Peace."
