"Terry Jacks will be always remembered in music history for his stand alone Worldwide Smash Hit No 1 'Seasons In The Sun'. But this Canadian born singer had a host of solo hit songs in Canada/USA which most of them appear on his Solo album from 1974 'Seasons In The Sun'. Terry Jacks was also the other half of 'The Poppy Family' which he also had Hit songs with. In some respect all the songs on 'Seasons In The Sun' album are catchy and a majority are real standouts like 'Concrete Sea' 'I'm Gonna Love You' 'I'm So Lonely Here Today'.
This under-rated album has been out of circulation for around 30 years and the project team at Cherryred/7 T's (UK) licenced from Sony BMG must be thanked for this re-issued album on CD. I understand several other Artists from the early 70s have also had their albums re-issued in the same way.
The tracks have been beautifully remastered and sound great! Apart from 'Put the bone in' which is obviously taken direct from the 7" vinyl single as some crackles can be heard, yet nevertheless this doesn't distract this rare now available song.
The four bonus tracks are 'Put the bone in' (b-side of 'Seasons in the sun'), 'If you go away' (Top Ten UK Single), 'Me and you' (b-side of 'If you go away') and 'Rock n' Roll' (Last UK uncharted single). These songs are a real additional treat for this CD.
The CD inlay has excellent informative liner notes as well as european colour pictures of 'singles' covers. The inside also includes the original back cover of the LP nicely reproduced.
This Album was a real pleasure to listen to. If you like the song 'Seasons In The Sun', you will like this CD. Highly recommended."
So glad to finally have the CD!!!

"I own the original vinyl of this CD, and have long hoped for a CD release. I actually have played the entire album and like all of the songs on the album. On this new CD version, there are a four bonus tracks, which are great! Must have for any child of the 70s!!!"
