"I picked this album up because I'm a fan of the great Adam Rogers who in my opinion is one of the most versatile jazz guitar men on the scene. Structure seems to me like a contrived sort of project that could have been put together by a record producer or some sort of company man, with that said I don't believe that it falls short on the music. Here you've got the drummer Terri Lyne Carrington paired up with bassist Jimmy Haslip of the Yellow Jackets holding down the grooves & on the front line Adam Rogers on guitar & Greg Osby on alto sax. I give this album four stars because the playing is great but the songs aren't the most memorable like I said this does have the air of a studio project not a slick well rehearsed road band. The songs are definitely in the fusion vain along the lines of say Tribal Tech & the Yellow Jackets. In my opinion the star here is Carrington, she is steady grooving & throwing down the funk fusion. Adam Rogers is as always doing some fine electric guitar work, check out the track Facets Squared for some killer Rogers. Greg Osby sounds good here as well but for me probably the least memorable of the group. In conclusion I would recommend this album more to hard core fans of killer instrumental music not causal listeners basically this is a album for musicians."
