"Tenor Saw's lyric's were first heard in 1985 with LOTS OF SIGNS (a version of the original sung by Bob Marley)and PUMPKIN BELLY to the Sleng Teng Rythym which dominated the dancehalls or sessions at that time, under the JAMMYS Label of Jamaica. "The music of my boyhood idol..Tenor Saw 1966-1988. He recorded one album while he was alive and it immortalised him in the pages of reggae history.

Tenor saw burst onto the scene via Sugar Minnotts youth promotions label with the greatest of all dancehall songs; Ring the alarm.

This song was one of the first of the reggae digital era on the great stalag riddim and many songs have been sung to this riddim but Ring the alrm stands above them all.

Shortly after he recorded this song he produced this album fever which is the greatest dancehall album that will vere be made....all the songs are hits and to listen to it and to know that he was killed by a hit and run driver and left on the streets of Houston Texas thus bringing an end to the life of this 22 year old legend simply brings me to tears of sorrow.

Simply a great album ..."
