"Every time I think of A Taste of Honey, the only song that comes to my mind is Boogie oogie oogie. These ladies were one of many pioneers of disco. They may not be around anymore, but for groups such as the Village people, the Bee Gees and a Taste of Honey, it's proven that disco has made a comeback. If you really want to relive the days of disco, then this is one CD you definitely don't wanna pass up!"

"Boogie Oogie Oogie was a bright jewel in the crown of American disco music, a work of rhythmic and lyrical poetry, the beat of a drum come to life. The triumphant "Get down -- boogie oogie oogie" takes its place among the most intense lyrics ever penned. It's as if Boogie Oogie Oogie was the Disco movement's Battle Hymn of the Republic... "There's no time to waste let's get this show on the road" calls forth with the same impact as "Mine eyes have seen the glory...", inspiring people to action. Buy this CD today. Boogie Oogie Oogie is a literal masterpiece."

"Hazel Payne and Janice Johnson were years ahead of their time. They wrote, played instruments and produced. This track features their talents. Boogie Oogie oogie is only one of their materpieces. Rescue me and Sukiyaki are good hits too."
