"Aacaipsin (You are weird), Tarkan's 2nd album, is the best one among his 3 albums. In this album Tarkan has successfully combined Turkish sound and the European popular music sound and has produced a fascinating album! I strongly advise you to buy this album both to listen to the great songs that you can not easily find somewhere else and also to get to know Tarkan better who is now in New York and is preparing to produce a new album with english words... If you can't decide whether to buy his 3rd album, Olurum Sana or this one; buy this one, because to tell the truth, Olurum Sana hasn't been able to reach such a high quality as Aacaipsin and has been a disappointment for most of Tarkan's fans. ENJOY THE GREAT MUSIC!!!"

"I think that Tarkan's cd is really great. It seems to have very much thought put into the music. Unfortunately, I don't speak too much Turk, so I can't quite comment on the lyrics, but I do think that the music, in itself, is just spectacular and really catchy. This cd deserves to be internationally known, or at least more popular in America. In fact, I think that Tarkan deserves to be more known in the U.S. because I'm sick of being the only person in my city who listens to, not just this cd, but Tarkan's music in general. To be truthful, I don't have a specific favorite song on this cd because they're all good. I'm being honest too. I just adore his voice, and he really shows what a good voice he has on this cd. Thank you. Good bye."
My favorite Tarkan album to date . . .

""Aacayipsin" is without a doubt my favorite Tarkan album to date (pending the release of his new album this spring). This album is not nearly as pop as "Olurum Sana" (also called "Tarkan" in Europe). The music is not as good for the radio or to dance to, but in my opinion it is more beatiful. My favorite tracks on the CD are 04. "Bekle" ("Wait"), 07. "Unutmamali" ("Musn't Forget"), 09. "Durum Beter" ("The Situation's Worse"), and 10. "Gitme" ("Don't Go"). Just like other reviewers have said, even if you don't speak Turkish (which I do not) you can totally understand what Tarkan is saying just by how he sings it, he has so much passion. The US definately needs to open it's mind (and it's airways) to the sounds of Tarkan and other international musicians."
A pleasant Surprise!

"After experiencing Turkey for the first time, summer 1999, I was also enchanted( along with the culture, cuisine, people & history)with the original, sensual and non-pretentious musical creativities, of Tarkan's work.Thank you, for the good times and the music to remember it by!"

"Words are just not enough to describe this album. Everyone who wants to get in touch with some sort of a different tune that is really something very special compared to known sounds should listen to this album. It makes you pass through all sorts of different feelings throughout the album and just gives you a very special taste of what is genuine Turkish music. Here you get a taste of oriental tunes, wonderful Turkish lyrics, as well as of rocky, poppy sounds; all these details render the album a particular one. It's just not better than Tarkan's third album 'Ölürüm Sana', but not even worse than the latter. Both are wonderful examples of the highlights of Turkish music due to the efforts of the wonderful singer TARKAN!"
