Synopsis

Album Description
2004 collection of memorable tunes featured in films Quentin Tarantino has directed, produced, acted and/ or written the script for. Tarantino remains one of the most exciting and unpredictable directors in modern times. Since his breakout film, Reservoir Dogs, he has continued to amaze, confuse, surprise and excite critics and fans alike. His use of music in his films is as unpredictable as the film itself, often offering unsettling images to songs we had previously considered innocent and non-threatening. Features two rare interviews with Tarantino that introduce Dick Dale's 'Misirlou' and Stealers Wheel's 'Stuck In The Middle With You'. 16 tracks. MCA.

CD Reviews

A massive collection of some of the coolest oldies
(Senator@cyberramp.net) | Dallas, Texas | 11/24/1998
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Tarrantino knows good music when he hears it! I enjoyed everything on this CD, it's just makes you want to get in your convertible with pair of sunglasses and ride to it! Only one thing I didn't like about it is Quentin's constant ramblings between the songs.. SHUT UP AND JUST LET THE SONGS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!"
The perfect blend of music for the Ultra-Violence.

"This album was masterfully put together by Quentin. It has some of the best songs he ever used, especially Sweet Jane and Waiting For The Miracle. The intro to Stuck in the Middle with you is especially honest and funny. If you like compilation CD's with a wide variety of music, give this one a shot."
