"I don't know what they put in the water in the New Zealand, but for such a small country they seem to have so much good music coming from there. The Tall Dwarfs are indicitive of the best in Kiwi pop, a blend of dissonant noise, punk and sweet sweet melodies. For a benchmark I'd have to (reluctantly) compare them to more well known groups like The Folk Implosion and Pavement, but they're really in a league all of their own. It's a shame that Amazon doesn't have the 3eps compilation as that's equally as good, but Weeville is as good as place as any to begin your love affair with New Zealand pop."
