This exciting album features all seven of Tab's charted singles, including the smash title song which was #1 for six weeks in 1957! In addition to those fab 45's - songs like "Ninety-Nine Ways" and "Apple Blossom Time" - Young Love includes tracks taken from Tab's rare Dot and Warner Brothers repertoire.All tracks were remastered from the original tapes - in stereo whenever possible (except those with *). For those of you who might have been unlucky enough to hear one of Tab?s early "unauthorized" CD collections (made from old records), the sound here is a revelation! And as always on Eric CDs all songs are the ORGINAL 45 RPM single version. This CD includes a deluxe, 20-page, FULL-COLOR booklet with dozens of candid photos and rare memorabilia from Tab Hunter's personal collection, plus informative liner notes by noted music writer Greg Adams.

"Finally...a great Tab Hunter compilation! I can't say enough about this CD but I'll try! All of the hits are here and the label claim of great mastering from original source tapes is completely accurate - the sound quality is stunning. The packaging is first class with a beautiful 20-page full-color booklet crammed full of rare photos and very detailed liner notes. Way to go Eric Records...you've made one Tab Hunter fan very happy! I can now retire my well played 45s!"

"When I was a teenager working in a record store, one of my jobs was to keep the "oldies" section of singles stocked (yes, they were 45rpm singles, and it was THAT long ago!). That's when I discovered Eric Records, a label that specialized in issuing back-to-back hits. Unlike other labels, the sound quality on Eric's releases was always top notch, and that has continued into the CD era. It was obvious to me that the people who ran this label really cared about the music. That's why I was so happy to learn the label was issuing a greatest hits collection by an artist who was under-represented on CD. Finally, we have a Tab Hunter greatest hits CD, and it is worthy. There are 17 tracks, most in stereo, and all the original recordings. If only every label took as much care as Eric. Great artwork and liner notes, too. A class A+ job all the way around."
