"Peter Moon, Robert & Roland Cazimero as The Sunday Manoa had a lock on the local Hawaiian music scene. Then the group broke up and Peter Moon took a 5 year break. When he returned, there was energy to spare for faster tempos, Jazz, and original compositions with a new band. Tradition: "He Mea Nui Ke Aloha," "Pua Sadinia," "Ka Lei E," "Kaulana Na Pua." New songs: "UFO," "Island Love," "Ballad of Keawaiki," "Wao Akua." Instrumental fire: "Tropical Storm," "Slack Key Shuffle." The Sunday Manoa had been accused of "bebopping Hawaiian music"; The Peter Moon Band rocketed through the sound barrier and the local music scene got very interesting."
