"In my effort to upgrade my musical library without forcing myself onto a diet of ramen, I've been focusing my purchasing toward the "less expensive" (read "cheap") side of the market. This particular recording (yes, bought for Symphony No. 6) is probably the best quality that I've picked up. The duplication quality, as well as the quality of the original, are as excellent as anything available on the market.Titov's direction may be a little bland for the taste of some, and it might be accurately said that there have been other conductors, as well as other recordings made, that have more fully brought out the richness of the Symphony. However, looking across all the various factors of purchase, this is still a difficult CD to beat."
