Superb performances of great Haydn symphonies

"As outstanding as Andre Previn is in performing music of the Romantic period I was surprised -- but pleasantly so -- at how superb he is in conducting these Haydn symphonies. I deeply regret that this CD is currently out of print, but I urge you to get one of the used copies still offered by Amazon. If you like Haydn symphonies you will probably love these performances."
