CD ReviewsLa Plus Belle, then and now 08/14/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "La Plus belle Pour Aller Danser is one of most beautiful ballads Sylvie Vartan has recorded, it is very interesting to compare the original '60s recording included in this CD with a new one in "Irresistiblement Sylvie" (1999), each one with different arrangements, I love them both. Ne L'Imite Pas is a French cover of Major Lance The Monkey Time, I prefer Sylvie's version. Si Je Chante (one of Sylvie Vartan's greatest international hits), Dum Di La and Te Voici are also French versions of songs originally recorded in English. The CD includes sweet ballads and uptempo songs in the style of early '60s rock'n'roll. French originals, French versions of English songs, or English recordings, they all show an exemplary choice of material. You'll enjoy listening to these CD during many years."
