"i actually herd this on launch cast by accident.then i herd one song (this ring) and added it to my radio station on launch.then after i herd that i put the whole damn album on my player.she has a smooth soulful voice and she's fine too!.the only way i can desribe her sound is something like this other female soul act by the name of cherokee.thats the only comparison i can make.this album was also out even before they started calling this neo soul(as far as i know).i read somewhere in a article that she like listening to 9 inch nails.i can't believe she likes listening to nine inch nails though. closer was the only song i like by that band.i like a lil rock/metal but i wouldn't ritiously go out and buy a rock album.anyways its sad that capitol records let this fell through the cracks.it had no promotion as far as i know.she has like maybe one video out thats on launch but i don't remember it being played anywhere!!.well i read that she's a song writer so she might be still in the industry writing songs for other artist, wich is what she was doing before hand.also i read that she didn't want to be molded into anything, she wanted control over her music.wich probably killed her career(if its dead)she apparently didn't have control like she wanted.*sigh* oh well

ok enough of my rants go buy this album.lol

just give me my hardcore, gangsta, and political rap and neo soul.and i'll be str8."
Worth the trouble

"This CD is hard to find (I guess because Hollywood Records never truly released it) but it was worth the trouble I went through to get it. Some classic songs like "That Ring" and "Waiting...Contemplating" and "Stop Askin". I saw her open for Macy Gray a couple of years ago and she ripped it. It's too bad she hasn't gotten her just due yet... If you can get a copy of this anywhere, snag it. It's sure to become a collector's piece... Sy if you are anywhere out there reading this, please know you have fans in Michigan!!!"
