"I'm just writing this to laugh at the girl who thought this was a swing CD. Ready? Here I go!BAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!hehe!*snort, choke*I just hope she realizes how much she brightened by evening. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.besides that, the CD's pretty cool. Not great, but good. And it's PUNK ROCK! NOT SWING!"
True to life

"in a day and age where the title punk rock has become little more than a sad joke, and band after band after band pushes out bubblegum performances aimed at the 15 year old psyche, a band which stay true to roots should be praised. I am here to priase the Swingin Utters and their Five Lessons Learned album. Something in Johnny's voice screams of sincerity. The premier track, Tell Me Lies, is a ballad of the tired and futureless, where, beleive it or not, punk rock comes from. Likewise, on Untitled 21 the feelings of remiscience ring true to anyone who thinks back to better days and livelier times. When you are looking for hard-edged music to pack a punch like a kick from a canal-mule you must turn to the utters, and they will not let you down.By the way, they are the best live show going at this point in time, and fill a void left by Bad Religion when they shamelessly sold out."

"This record is great. The energy that comes out of this record is just flawless. My favorite song on this record is definately "fruitless fortunes". I get a western feel to most of the tracks on this cd, which makes stand out from the rest of the records out there. These guys rock harder than most other bands out there and this cd proves that."
This CD is amazing

"Not only is this my favorite utters Album so far, it is my favorite album i own so far. The swingin' utters do punk rock at it's best, and whats more, they add their own style, so it doesn't sound like every other punk band. They are original, and they rock harder than any band i've ever heard."
