"Although perhaps not as epic as Groove Technology 1.3, and slightly more mainstream than Dirty Dancing, I doubt many will go wrong with this diverse compilation."

"I always have this record stand by for any moment, it is great. It is diverse and stylish with some great and unlikely music choices. To me it also is a great companion to the sets of James Zabiela."
Outstanding mix

"Very stylish and diverse. Definitly a good investment. Especially the first half is mindblowing!"
A nice mix - more house oriented than the Groovetechnology M

"Swayzak's volume in the ever-expanding Fabric collection ranks amongst my favorites, not because of the mixing, but because of their always tasteful track selection. While there are much better DJs around, not everyone spins this style with such great picks. There are some obvious favorites such as Akufen and Luomo, but then there are some surprises such as a Royksopp remix of Felix da Housecat. Although not always obvious, one can usually find the connecting threads, which is, in my opinion, a big part of the fun.
How does this compare to their other mix CD, Groovetechnology v1.3? The Fabric mix has greater diversity and is more immediately accessible, but it feels less rewarding in the long run. The artists on the Fabric mix tend to be more mainstream, which is fine. On the other hand, I'll always be grateful to their Groovetechnology selections for introducing me to some fairly obscure minimal techno artists such as Phillipe Cam and Quadrant.
It's tough to decide which mix Swayzak fans should check out first. Naturally, you should have them both (if only we could buy all the CDs we ever wanted . . . ). Fabric is more house, while Groovetechnology is more microhouse. I personally think the latter is a much stronger statement from Swayzak, but Fabric isn't without its moments. Regardless, this is a welcome addition to Fabric's line of quality mixes in strange metal containers."
