"This was a nice CD to listen to. Notice I didn't say it was a great CD to listen to, but a nice one. After seeing Death Angel live at Thrash of the Titans in August, Mark O. pushed Swarm pretty hard onto the crowd. Many of us greeted that with a round of boos. However we might take that back. While Swarm is not as tight riffed as Death Angel, it is still very enjoyable. Heaven's Cage sounded most like the old Death Angel, but the other songs were much more watered down for a radio application. Wouldn't want those KSJO listeners to jump outta their seats with a real speed metal song. *G*
Almost easy listening metal if you would call it that! But hey, with 9 bucks, a sampler CD thrown in, how can you lose? I do hope Death Angel makes more music in the future, but also like the side project of Swarm too."
