CD Reviews

Well ...

"This album is...well, different. Rhatigan has a tendency to curl her voice (what others call squelling), I don't find it hard to listen to. I think it's a good album. It has some great rock tunes with some great jazz elements here and there.

This album is a little dated now (1992), so if you're into new music - I wouldn't recommend this. This sounds more 80s than 90s but it's still a good listen when you're in the mood for some of that rough-bent out of shape woman-speaking-her-mind type of music.

Though this isn't for everyone, so what I recommend is to sample her music before purchasing and like the reviewer before me, I got this album for only 3 dollars. Look for it in pawn shops before buying it for full price."
Could have been better

"This album has some decent tunes. Musicaly it is a cross of rock, blues with a mild country feel. The first half is the stronger while the rest is forgettable. The main letdown is Rhatigan's abuse of her vocal capacity. Her frequent tendencies to screech and squeel makes me cringe. This is a shame because when restrained she comes across as more confident and sensual.I picked this a for a buck in a used bin - thank god for that."
