Great 70's Band

"I am choosing this Cd in particular to write a review, Instead of writing one review for each six cd's available to buy. And that one reason is "The Pie".....when asked about what Sutherland Brothers (& Quiver) song they like the best over all, "The Pie" is the song that stands out above most others. I agree, Wholeheartadly! First of all, Sutherland Brothers & Quiver is one of those seemingly Underated and underplayed bands you never ever heard of in the 70's and if you did, you never heard a song like "The Pie" or "Hallelujah" Both love songs about longing and loneliness and losing. I love Ballads, unabashadly I thrive on such songs to move me into my own emotional place. Sutherland Brothers have all that and more. They are gone but not forgotton......there fan base is still strong long after they have retired these albums into foreverland. I consider The Sutherland Brothers to be extremely genuine in their songcrafting. Starting with songs like "The Pie" and into "Midnight Avenue" and "Sunny street W14"....Beautiful acoustics and vocal harmonies. These Brothers should have made the Big time with this band and would have loved to imagine the product they could have put out if they remained singing partners to this day. Other Sutherland Brothers and Quiver Cd's and song Must haves. Reach for the Sky~"Arms of Mary" "Dr Dancer" "Love on the Moon" Lifeboat~"Space Hymn" "Sailing"(also made famous my Rod Stewart) DreamKid~"Seagul/Lonely love" "Flying down to Rio" "Maker" Beat of the street~"Savior in the rain" "Laid back in Anger""
