"My friend used to play this CD in the car every time I drove with her, and I finally caved in and bought it for myself. The Super Friendz are in the same vein as a lot of bands that have come out of the Halifax area recently. They play catchy littl pop tunes that'll have you singing all day. My favorite song on the CD is "Machine Green" it's short, it's catchy, it's cute. If you like this CD, you should check out Sloan, Thrush Hermit, and The Inbreds."
The SFZ were/are great

"This album is excellent, and a strange thing. It's title "Sticktoitiveness" is the same title as their debut cassette (good luck finding that), but it is in fact most of their debut Canadian album "Mock Up/Scale Down" along with most of their 10" release "Play the Game, Not Games". There are 3 songs missing from Mock/Up: "Dear Old Ireland", "Stone Alone", and the "secret" song "Length of Heart". As far as the 10" goes, it is missing the alternate "Rescue Us From Boredom", as well as "Sorry/Super Friendz Theme". But anyways, it's nice to have those 10" tracks on CD, I especially like "Boots".
These songs are great, the summer of 1995 all over again, aw yeah! They were the first band to have a full length on Sloan's Murderrecords label, and deservingly so. And the best news is, they are currently recording their 3rd album! Also, try to find "Slide Show", their second album, if you can.Remember to check out the band members other bands: Flashing Lights, and Neuseiland."
