""Watery Hands" has come to be one of my favorite songs, and if you don't have "Indoor Living" I would implore you to buy this single. Mac's lyrics for this song are about as good as they come, and repeated listenings to the music reveal countless layers. I love it so much! The other two songs here should please Superchunk purists and Portastatic fans alike. "With Bells On" is a reliable, standard Superchunk indie-rock song (I wouldn't call it punk). The "Wet Wurlitzer Mix" (which is an apt description) of "Watery Hands" is a brilliant reconstruction in an experimental vein--but wholly listenable. For a long time I listened to this remix more often than the original. Full of wurlitzers, stacatto guitar and drum samples, and heavily treated, broken up vocals, this is neither a dance track nor a pop song, exactly, but it works very well. Needs to be heard to be understood. I'm not a fan of the CD single format (it's awfully wasteful) but this disc takes a treasured position in my collection."
