"Praise God for Deitrick Haddon and VOU. They are inspiring and annointed singers who God is using greatly. Supernatural is a hit and I enjoy listening to their Holy Ghost filled music. It is the Annointing that makes the difference. "Well Deitrick Haddon is back on the scene with a new CD called "Supernatural". Now the cover of the cd says "Voices of Unity featuring Deitrick Haddon" but once you take a listen its clear that Deitrick is all over this product. From writing and producing to even doing his own background vocals on cuts like "Shake the World," and "Supernatural," Deitrick Haddon is the man! Two of the soulful cuts on this CD are "Jesus" and "Chain Breaker" which kinda reminds me of Mom and Pop Staples of the "Staples Singers" with those guitar lics and soulful lead vocals. Supernatural is very hard to put down. I mean one minute your tapping your foot and bobbin' yo head to one cut and the next your dancin in yo' car. The styles change from one cut to the next. Younger peeps should definitely enjoy this one! Is that Damita Haddon doing background vocals on some of the cuts?...Yep! I must admit that the production of Supernatural is tight! Deitrick Haddon will definitely be regarded as one of the hottest producers in the industry! -- ..."

"Well, what can I say, but Deitrick Haddon has done it again! The artwork on the front of his CD cover may throw you off at first, but don't let that fool you! If you like Deitrick Haddon's style of music, then you will definitely love this CD. The first track, "Victory" automatically grabs the listener in with it's innovative beats, and jubilant feel. This CD is a must have for all of you who love to dance and praise God. While listening to tracks like "Praise Up", "So Good", and the title track "Supernatural", I couldn't stop my head from bobbing! The track "Supernatural" clearly shows off Deitrick Haddon's unique vocal capabilities. I've never heard a voice like his!! The melodies and runs that Deitrick came up with on this track is truly stunning!! This CD has something on it for everybody--young, old, traditional, or R&B. No matter what type of music you like, I'm sure you will enjoy this CD. On the ballad "Who Is Like Our God", Deitrick mixes classic R&B soul with a touch of worship. For all of those who enjoyed listening to the popular song "Don't Let Me Fall", you will love the follow up song with Deitrick thanking God for "not letting him fall" on the track entitled, "You Didn't Let Me Fall." I loved the CD as soon as I put it in my CD player, and I've been playing it ever since. I gave this CD FIVE STARS! If you don't have this CD, go out and pick it up as soon as you can! You don't want to miss out!"
One of Deitrick's best

"Or should I say one of Voices of Unity's best because it's not just Deitrick's show here...in fact some of the better numbers have him playing a supporting role only. This CD is pretty heavily weighted toward uptempo numbers but the ones that are here are mostly great. Plenty of slammin' beats and production touches that keep pace with today's R&B underscoring catchy upfront gospel lyrics.
HIGHLIGHTS:
"Victory" blasts into your speakers with a fanfare and a hot hip-hop sound (down to the artifically sped up high harmony vocal that's been turning up on rap hits). It's a testament to Haddon's instrumental and production prowess since he doesn't sing on it but does produce and play ALL instruments. "Shake the World" and "Praise Up" are both gospel floor fillers. (It's Rochelle Bates on vocals for "Praise Up") The outstanding slow number is "When We All Get Together", imagining Jesus' reign when the things that divide us as humans are passed away. A Staple Singers-ish sound colors "Chain Breaker (Jiffy Cornbread Mix)", thanks to Sean Carrington's slinky guitar and some great call and response vocals from Bishop Clarence Haddon and Joyce Haddon (Deitrick's parents).
LOWS:
"So Good" is pretty bland..I can see why it's the "bonus" track.
BOTTOM LINE:
Very solid disk with some standout tracks and not much filler. This is one to own."
