For all of you power-pop lovers out there this is a find! If I didn't have it already, I would be all over this album. Seattle is not known for it's power-pop, but it should be. It has been buried under the avalanche that was known as grunge. The Posies, Young Fresh Fellows, The Green Pajamas, The Moberlys and Sister Psychic were just a few of the other Pacific Northwest acts that played the clubs with tuneful abandon.
If you like your rock with a catchy melody or your pop with a slightly harder edge, this is it.

"If you like Coldplay you will love this. It is a hint of pop with great lyrics and music. This album should be considered among the greats. It is one a very few albums you can listen to not only front to back but also over and over again without being tired of it. If you enjoy this album I STRONGLY urge you to purchase the follow up Via Satellite, as well as Braden Blake's solo album A Year In Pajamas. Listen closely and enjoy!"

"I really wish that more people have had the honor of experiencing Super Deluxe. I've been a fan for many many years, almost as long as they've come out. (Just for a personal note, I have no relation to the lead singer of Super Deluxe). Anyway, this album is one of the best pop albums, or albums of all time. I really enjoy every song on it. I think that I slightly prefer it to Via Satillite, it is amazing. Some of my favorite tracks are #2 (Famous), #3 (She Came on), #4 (Love Her Madly), #5 (Flustered), #6 (Disappearing), #8, 9, 10, and 11, (Holly's Dream Vacation), (Smile), (Suitcases) and (Sunshine for now)I think that the three last tracks specifically shine, but the album is amazing. The writing and lyrics are awesome, and of course the vocals are great. Super Deluxe is an amazing band, uncomparable to anything else. Buy this album, you'll honestly not be able to stop listening to it."
