Amazon.comSunz of Man gathers Killah Priest, Prodigal Sunn, Hell Razah, and 60 Second Assassin--all members of the Wu-Tang (extended) Clan--together for a mediocre 19-track run through the swamps. Like previous Wu family releases, the song remains the same here, with clever wordplay emphasizing self-worth and apocalyptic visions. To stave off early retirement, Sunz enlist proven hit makers as producers: the Wu-Tang's own RZA, 4th Disciple, Supreme, and the red-hot Wyclef, who is joined by Ol' Dirty Bastard and Earth, Wind & Fire for a nice recreation of EW&F's "Shining Star." Method Man appears on "Collaboration '98," while U-God and Raekwon add their voices to "Intellectuals." Without these three tracks, it's hard to imagine The Last Shall Be First getting into the shopping basket of anyone but a Wu completist. --Todd Inoue
