CD ReviewsPure acoustic music with great writing and singing J. Skelton | Milwaukee, WI | 09/01/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "Sunshone Still isn't easily classified (Americana, ART-country, alt-country). Just listen- his music is heartfelt and pure. He puts together a stripped down album similar to Nick Drake or Jack Johnson, but with southern soul. People who like Wilcon for their early americana sound mixed with some modern twists will like this music. He's not following any set pattern and not trying to create music people expect him to- he plays his music and it works. The tunes are VERY well written, clean, with intelligent and searching lyrics. I caught a live shown in Columbia recently- great in person as he is on disc, and funny to boot. Try this album out- you will definitely become a fan."
