"Although it would take a lot to overshadow the beautiful and seductive singer/musician/songwriter Gina Degnars, the music of Stygian Veil succeeds.Although personally I think it should have had either a harder or Victorian mix, I believe they have accomplished what they wanted; a unique sound that reaches the masses without putting themselves in the overcrowded goth arena."

"This album was getting constant play in my friends Cd player but I never really listened up. Then one day I was really getting into one track off the album and I say, "who's this". My friend: "God Damm you, It's stygian veil", as he's mentioned this band like 10 times but hey, what can I say. Anyway, I've been listening to this record alot lately and it is truly beautiful. I can't explain the kind of energy that Stygian Veil has but I almost feel that they should be considered required listening in the same vein as Joy Division. The End. Go buy the record now."
