Rarely heard class

"Stuff were one of the great bands, but a lot of people have never heard of them. The main reason for this is that they were primarily an instrumental band. How many instrumental pop/rock groups can you name - the Shadows and thats it?? Stuff consisted of six first class musicians, who if they weren't playing together were doing session work.
Listen to any number of tracks on this two album CD and you'll immediately be taken back to Paul Simons classic albums of the mid 70's. The reason for this is:
Steve Gadd - Drums
Richard Tee - Keyboards
Eric Gale - Guitar
The first example of this is track 2 'You Make It Easy'. Tee's Electric Piano dominates the track, but later on Eric Gales guitar finishes with a distinctive flourish. The other musicians are Gordon Edwards - bass, Cornell Dupree - Guitar and Chris Parker - Drums.
Live in New York dates from 1980 and is the first seven tracks. More Stuff is from 1977 and is track eight to fifteen. The main reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is that on the live set there are quite a few fade-outs and then dubbed in audience applause. I'm assumming this was a time problem, but personally I'd have rather had fewer tracks that were complete.
However, thats a minor quibble, this is fine representation of a great band. Buy it before it gets deleted!"
