"Student Rick has every aspect of what defines an amazing band. I wake up to 'Soundtrack for a Generation' almost every morning because its just so good. Their music has just enough punk but also other sounds that keep you hooked. Every song is different and just as good as the last one. I have a Student Rick shirt that I proudly sport, lol. They are so awesome, I can't describe it. Just get this CD."

"This is definately the biggest band in the South Bend Punk Scene(it's quite a scene, laugh out loud). I know several of the punk bands in the area and I'm just glad to see one signed, in addition to the slightly-local Mustard Plug which is close to my birth place, but hey, I didn't move all that far, well actually I live in the ... city of bristol, but I lived in South Bend and Kalmazoo before I moved here. I saw Mustard Plug play last week and man did they blow me away. I missed Student Rick but I know alot of peope who saw them play at some coffe-house/bookstore they use to play at but they won't let them play there anymore(I'm so jealous), I'm more into regular punk than pop/punk or emo but I'm so proud of my local heros that I DON'T CARE!... Well done Student Rick!...Raise the flag high for the city of SOUTH BEND, make me proud!..."
Awesome CD!

"The lyrics on this CD are deep and meaningful. Student*Rick has their own unique sound, while still providing that comfortable, upbeat feeling that is similar to other CDs, such as A New Found Glory - Nothing Gold Can Stay. Their voices are a little higher than others, but this just adds to the attributes of the CD that make me enjoy it. In addition to this album, people may want to buy Saves the Day - Stay What You Are. First and foremost, however, you should buy Soundtrack for a Generation. Seriously, this is one of the best CDs I've ever heard!"
Student Rick, my hometown band!

"This CD is awesome! I have seen Student Rick play at Higher Grounds a lot. It is in South Bend, my hometown as well as their hometown. I loved them so much that I bought their CD as soon as it came out! You will find that their songs relate to general life so well. They are beautiful and melodic, and punk enough for me. Although I am more into the hardcore punk scene, Student Rick pulls it off alright. Think New Found Glory melodies mixed with Green Day/Rancid lyrics. The songs are great. Monday Morning, Falling For You, and South of Blackford are my favorites. The lyrics are very meaningful. They talk about life at its truest state: "...we'll stay up all night getting drunk and watching sunsets on our porch..." If you buy this album, you can't go wrong! I really hope Student Rick doesn't turn out to be another sellout. They have so much talent, it would be a shame to waste it. Student Rick: Don't dissapoint you devoted punk fans! Keep playing for us here in South Bend!"
