CD Reviews

Still Miss Them

"These guys were the best. Just a bunch of regular dudes who liked to party and play good rock-n-roll. We had some great times at ML Chasers. Greg has a new band (Damn The Torpedoes), and it still gives us old Stranger fans a chill to hear them play the classic Stranger tunes. Ronnie, you are gone, but not forgotten...RIP bud..."

"this is the greatest band to come out of florida since lynrd skynrd i only wish they had a chance to make more music r.i.p. ronnie g. the live shows rocked the house. they always took care of me with backstage passes at the rockit club in tampa fl when i wa in town ill never forget you guys. in a lot of reviews you dont actually know the band but i did. just a bunch of regular guys who liked wild turkey and budwieser.----and good southern rock and roll."

"I heard these guys all over central and Tampa Bay-area rock radio in the early-mid 80s...Rock 100 WDIZ in Orlando and 95YNF in Tampa Bay were the BEST rock stations around and they promoted these guys in good shape. My only wish, aaide from having had a chance to catch these guys live back in the day, is that this album had clocked in at more than 28 minutes plus. Certainly these guys had a lot more material this good. I always remember hearnig "Get On Up" on the radio, and when I saw this album earlier this year in a used vinyl shop, I was immediately transported back to Gainesville in the 80s. This LP is every bit as good as I remember it, and I've gotta get more of their stuff for sure. Some people thought the 80s sucked...well, for a decade that was supposed to have sucked, this is some pretty damn good rock & roll! As hard as some of their stuff is to find, it's worth every penny!"
