"I was perusing some new music out of sheer boredom, and I'm much a fan of bands that have some bite to their lyrics and their melodic choices. I'm not a huge fan of 'pop' rock, and so I've been really jaded with a lot of music that's out these days. HOWEVER, S.C. caught my eye - checked out their website ... and listened to the first song on the cd, "Free," and I was completely hooked. It's the first time I've heard a band IN A LONG TIME that gets better with every listen. It's the kind of band that has the ability to get in your veins. It's the Coldplay/Dave Matthews talent of the mainstream...maybe now the radio won't make me cringe. Amazing debut. 5 STARS."
Out of nowhere.....

"The fact is-out of the blue this band called Strange celebrity pops up and blew me away anyway. This band absolutely rocks the christian rock scene and to tell you the honest truth SHOULD be rocking the secular scene if only people weren't so critical toward their religous stance. The reality is these guys produce music that in my mind is up there with the likes of Lifehouse, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox20 in terms of potential. With the upbeat absolutely rocking tracks like the first single; free, and If I, I can't breathe and mellow, spine shivering tunes like dangerous, someday and perfect world it suddenly dawns on me that there is not a track I could skip on this Album, It is absolutely brilliant, and I really hope more people start hearing of these guys cause they deserve ALOT more credit than they getting...The fact that they love God shouldnt create any bias hostility against this kind of perfect music...Spread the Strange word!!"

"Some good stuff, but kinda makes you wonder how this never got the recognition it deserves and why radio stations are still shoving garbage like Jason Mraz and The Killers down our throats. Free, If I, Control are the standouts but the whole cd is pretty good. Buy it or at least download it and do your part to bring good music back into the Black Eyed Peas and Hanson-infested, hopeless world."

"I haven't heard alot of Strange Celebrity, but enough to really like. I recently heard about the band on an advertisment for "Remedy" on the back of CCM magazine. A couple of days ago I was visiting a local christian book store and i saw it there. I listened 2 it and i just love it! no complaints on this one-- really good. Yeah, a little like 12 stones but not enough to be posers. really good cd!"
