I expected to love this CD, and I do, since it has so many of Stevie's familliar hits. But the unexpected discovery of his version of "Blowin' In the Wind"--which I'd never heard before--has become my newest favorite song. Such a wonderful and joyful cover!! That song alone makes this a true keeper for me.

"This is a collection of pre-1972 tracks by Stevie Wonder. It's not really a "greatest hits" collection, since some classics like "Fingertips" and "Uptight(Everything's Alright)" aren't here. It's supposed to be a collection of "love songs", but some of the songs, like "We Can Work It Out" and "Blowin' in the Wind" aren't really love songs. Still, it's a good collection of songs including classic hits like "My Cherie Amour", "If You Really Love Me" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours"; alongside some more obscure songs. Stevie Wonder is One of the Mount Rushmore Artists, Songwriters,Producers,etc.... etc.... ever to me and my ears. so many classics and one of the very few artists to me that got it right where words and music are concearned. vocally he is so soulful."
