CD ReviewsTry to see things my way. Johnny Heering | Bethel, CT United States | 05/14/2006 (4 out of 5 stars) "This is a collection of pre-1972 tracks by Stevie Wonder. It's not really a "greatest hits" collection, since some classics like "Fingertips" and "Uptight(Everything's Alright)" aren't here. It's supposed to be a collection of "love songs", but some of the songs, like "We Can Work It Out" and "Blowin' in the Wind" aren't really love songs. Still, it's a good collection of songs including classic hits like "My Cherie Amour", "If You Really Love Me" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours"; alongside some more obscure songs. Here is the complete track listing: 1. Contract on Love 2. My Cherie Amour 3. Until You Come Back to Me 4. Yester-Me, Yester-You, Yesterday 5. Never Had a Dream Come True 6. If You Really Love Me 7. Heaven Help Us All 8. Never Dreamed You'd Leave in Summer 9. A Place in the Sun 10. Alfie 11. Hey Love 12. For Once in My Life 13. We Can Work It Out 14. I Was Made to Love Her 15. Don't Know Why I Love You 16. Blowin' in the Wind 17. Shoo-Be-Doo-Be-Doo-Da-Day 18. I'm Wondering 19. Nothing's Too Good For My Baby 20. Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" Great overall collection mistermaxxx@yahoo.com | usa | 01/19/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "huge Stevie Wonder fan and this collection i bought many years ago and i enjoyed it all. Stevie Wonder is One of the Mount Rushmore Artists, Songwriters,Producers,etc.... etc.... ever to me and my ears. so many classics and one of the very few artists to me that got it right where words and music are concearned. vocally he is so soulful." Classics and rare tracks R. Riis | NY | 03/17/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is a reissue of a long-out-of-print CD (with different cover art) from 1985. GRAB IT WHILE YOU CAN! In addition to classic hits there are several rare or hard-to-find tracks that make this collection essential. "Until You Come Back to Me" (a 1974 hit for Aretha Franklin) was written and recorded by Stevie Wonder in 1967 but not released until it appeared on the "Looking Back" anthology in 1977. "Alfie" is from the "Eivets Rednow" instrumental side project that is currently out of print. "I Don't Know Why", "Contract on Love", and "Hey Love" were minor chart hits that are rarely anthologized. "I'm Wondering" and "Heaven Help Us All" were bigger hits that are not available on any of Stevie's currently-available hits collections. Except for a handful of big hits, most of Stevie's work between "Fingertips" and "Superstition" gets pretty short shrift from Motown these days. Get this terrific collection to start filling in the gaps!"
