Steven's music makes everyone want to dance!

"I love Steven's music to teach with and carry his CDs with me wherever I teach, and this new one is marvellous. Sometimes I arrive to teach an audition in a new city and find that there is no accompanist. I always thank heaven that I have Steven's DCs with me. His choices, tempos and wonderful technique make me want to dance on and on! And I particularly love the new Convent Garden CD. Thanks Steven your music is marvellous.

"If you're not acquainted with the fabulous ballet accompanist Steven Mitchell, now's the time! As a former professional dancer, and now a ballet teacher, I ask for a lot when I need to use recorded music to teach. I find that his varied rhythms and tempi make my classes a pleasure to prepare, and the students always enjoy his music selections. This is a fun yet serious album, and I highly recommend it!"
The most inspirational ballet class CD ever!!!!!!

"Growing up in the world of dance (my grandmother and mother were ballet teachers) I have heard hundreds of albums and now CD's of ballet class music. The first time I played this for my ballet class I fell in love with it. The music is not only beautiful it is inspirational. It contains a slow waltz which is hard to find in CD's, but a must for beginner dancers. I went to show the CD to the other teachers and one of the teachers who already played it for her class said, "That CD is the best ever!" I agree."

"As a dancer trained in the UK and now a ballet teacher in California, I was initially attracted to the title of this CD but was ultimately thrilled by the musical renditions. The selections are played beautifully and spiced with Mr. Mitchell's unique versatility. My adult students find the varying tempos to be just the right challenge and the lovely rhythms inspire my class choreography. I love it."
Make your pupils smile in class!!

"This recording is sure to bring a smile to students of any age. I LOVED "giselle's last tango" and the petit allegro is bouncy and full of fun. I also adore the arrangement of "gymnopedies 1" - the real thing is actually quite difficult to use in class because of all the rallentandos.
All the musical intros are clear and there's plenty of music for when you need to work in groups or one line at a time. This is going to be a favourite of mine!"
