Flight of Rings is the journey in music depicting a family's voyage to the planet Uranus (pronounced Yoo-ranus) to visit the nine main rings encircling the planet. Track 1 is their voyage, in music, to the planet and its rings; Six, Five, Four, Alpha, Beta, Eta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon. The story of their journey is written in the CD booklet and contains actual facts about Uranus and some NASA facts discovered about the planet. The bells, tweets, winds, gongs, and other sounds sprinkled within the music are the actual recordings taken by Voyager of the solar winds weaving within the rings of Uranus. Overlaying the last track are snippits from previous rings having already passed on their journey home.
