Dr. G's Gentle Voice And Positive Messages Will Ease Your Pa
Melanie R. Jordan | Las Vegas, NV For Now | 12/24/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I had never heard of medical hypnosis until I came across a CD Dr. Gurgevich made with Dr. Andrew Weil--Heal Yourself with Medical Hypnosis". Being in a puzzling and ongoing pain condition for months, I figured I had nothing to lose by opening my mind to the possibility that my pain had a mind-body connection and could possibly be helped with these techniques.

I really didn't know what to expect, but I found Dr. G's gentle and positive voice and attitude to be very comforting, and I was enjoying the sessions I had, so I checked out this site to see if he had any other CDs and felt like I hit the jackpot. I was really impressed by the diverse and extensive selection of condition-specific offerings and ordered 3 CDs including this one.

Since this was about a 38-minute session, at first I had too much pain to be sitting or lying down for most of it, so I leaned against a wall and let myself get absorbed into the positive messages. Gradually, I could sit for more and more of it, and eventually I could make the whole session. This improvement extended to other times when I wasn't listening to the CD and I kept getting better and better by listening to this CD and alternating it with his Healing Mind: Healing BodyHealing Mind, Healing Body CD (my personal favorite).

I would think that it would pretty much be impossible for anyone not to experience relief from their pain listening to Dr. G. with his comforting "Winnie The Pooh" voice, as he is so encouraging, reminding you every step of the way that" you're doing this well, you're doing this VERY well!"
