Great selection but below-average performance

"The selection of hymns and other songs is fantastic. I bought the set for our 2-year-old who, by listening to a different CD of hymns, can alreay sing several from memory.

However, that's where I was a little disappointed in this collection. Too often (but not always) the lyrics are either drowned out by the music, or the singers/choirs don't articulate clearly enough to understand the words easily. (But hey, you can't blame the singers, they're kids themselves!) That's not a problem for adults, but it makes it very hard for a toddler to learn from.

On top of that, some of the singers are ridiculously off-key at times, enough to make me cringe. . .

So in short, I blame the producer for the problems in these albums. If you're wanting to purchase a CD so your toddler can learn hymns, there are better choices out there."
