Great LOST Album

"When Steve Wynn originally released Fluorescent back in 1994, it was on the Mute label, which was distributed here in the USA by Elektra. Well, as is often the case with more indie-oriented artists, Steve's "quiet electric" masterpiece fell between the major label marketing cracks and was overlooked. Underheard. Under bought... But don't despair. If you missed Fluorescent the first time, you can treat yourself to this wonderful "special edition" reissue, which contains eight bonus tracks and very informative, detailed liner notes in a really nice digipak. Steve, backed by members of the Continental Drifters is joined by John Wesley Harding, Victoria Williams, and Giant Sand's Howe Gelb, showcases some of his best songwriting ever in these direct, almost acoustic sessions... If you missed this in 1994, you owe it to yourself to check this album that All Music Guide gave 4 1/2 out of 5 stars."
