A classic addition to any great jazz collection

"Passion, by Steve Laury, is considered (and often officially listed as) a classic addition to any great modern jazz collection. Its songs are a fusion of jazz with civilized rock, an occasional touch of samba and a twist unique to this Vineland, NJ native. Steve's style is unlike any other living guitarist. His trademark is playing melody leads on two concurrent strings, a technique which is physically challenging to master and anomalous in sound. I enjoy Passion from front to back. My favorite track is In My Dreams which is often played on smooth jazz radio stations and one of the most beautiful tunes I've ever heard. I also like his later album, Keepin' The Faith. All Steve's work is "great traveling music"."
