A protege of former Muddy Waters harmonica player Paul Oscher, Guyger has learned his chops from one of the great masters of the instrument. Guyger's been playing professionally since the 1970's and this recording certainly shows that he's definitely ready to go out there and tackle the world.This CD is pure Chicago-style Blues. Guyger's back-up band is as tight as a drum and they are an absolute pleasure to listen to. There is some very nice songwriting going on as well with a few old classics thrown in for good measure. Overall, the album is a delight.For fans of Chicago-style Blues or Blues harmonica, I definitely give this album a thumbs up."
