"This disc is further proof to 2 things: steve gibbons is a very talented rock musician; and RGF records is one great label. I can only surmise that the title "Maintaining Radio Silence" is a tongue-in-cheek slag on the current state of radio, but nevermind. If radio doesn't play this music, I'll spend much less time listening to radio! Steve's sense of humour & slick way with lyrics once again are amply demonstrated in "Let There Be Bop." Listen to this one carefully - it'll make you smile. A country side is shown with "Manyana." The extra tracks RGF included in this package are indeed a great bonus. "Don't Wanna Let You Down" is revisited after only a couple of decades or so. "TT92" is from the "Birmingham to Memphis" disc, but the cherry on the sundae may well be "Harley Davidson." If there were any real justice out there for Steve, H-D would be using this song for world-wide advertising. It's that much of a hoot! This is one very enjoyable disc from the 1st song to the last. Keep playin' that rock n roll, Steve......please!"
