"This is the major label(Elektra) debut for Stereolab. It is a fantastic album, and worlds better(meaning more interesting, better musicianship, etc..) from most recent music being put out these days(as far as the pop genre is concerned). This Stereolab record uses devices innovated by Neu! and My Bloody Valentine, but they add other elements as well. This makes a really pleasant and entertaining album. However, spare yourself the extra cash for the extra track. This extra track is included on the widely available "switched on Stereolab vol.2" disc."
