"I loved Ratt and I have enjoyed Pearcy's solo material for the most part but between Stripped and Fueler, I've lost a little respect for the man. The effort just isn't there anymore and the whole "I was a rock star and I created Ratt" bs is getting old. Listen to Pearcy's ramblings between songs on Stripped. This is not a happy performer. Also, Chuck Wright's bluesy bass lines seem out of place here with the Ratt tunes and some of these songs don't really sound much like the originals. I'm all for changing things up a bit when performing live but the way that some of these Ratt songs are arranged here is a real stretch. I gave Stripped two stars instead of one because of the cover tune "Oh Well". It is the one bright spot here."
LOVE THIS CD!!

"If you like RATT then you'll like this cd. Pearcy's voice is so unique and I think it's very underrated. The feel of listening to this cd is like you are sitting with Pearcy, chilling out, and he plays some of your favorite Ratt songs unplugged. Round and Round is a totally different version but it's a cool change and it grows on you. His versions of "Bring it on Home" and "Oh Well" were cool also. I recommend the cd to add to your Ratt OR Pearcy collection. Especially if you feel you just can't get enough of the 80's music or artists."

"First off, let me say I pretty much buy any CD from the '80 bands. I grew up on it and still love it. So when my faves come out with a new CD, I just don't buy one, more like 3. Now, this CD is raw, its stripped baby, PEARCY never was a great vocalist, but if you loved RATT it was because of Pearcy's raspy vocals. It was a distinct sound, as soon as you heard his voice you knew it was RATT. Now STRIPPED has a great SET LIST, it truly does. Thats the good, PEARCY seems to struggle with all the changes in melody and song structure. I still cant pull myself away from this CD, its classic song one after another. I recommend it, I paid 14 bucks for it ordered it off AMAZON. Its worth the risk, the songs alone, sort of a "BEST OF" type deal. PEARCY voice really grows on you, just like KEIFERS from CINDERELLA. I also love the UNPLUGGED sound. its a great change. Lets keep supporting our 80'S bands, if we dont they wont make anymore new tunes. Also gave it 4 stars. I really do like it that much. If you love RATT, youll love it then. TAKE A CHANCE. BMIFC member #420"
