A whiskey nightmare
Jennifer L. Hart | laguna's dark underbelly | 04/02/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"But a breath of black air, to say the least. A Blackout To Remember brings the alchohol-induced tragedies of the starvations into a morbid kind of upset, that isn't neccisarilly living, but can be better described as screams of rebel angels. To truly understand it, is to live in a world where everything is after your pride, and your only choice is to remain your track coach's pet, until your loyalties have left, and you can only think of your would-be, could-be glory, starting from the bottom, and working your way up the scene's ladder, until you realize that your coach can no-longer hurt you, so you go to his house, and shove 50 tampons down his throat. You call the police on yourself, spend the next week in prison, and have a large cellmate named carlos. Carlos likes to mold clay, and before you know it, your clothes are off, and the only thing you can think to do is sing his whistle all night long...
...Thats what real love is."
Fantastic

"This band is truly refreshing. I wouldn't even know of a way to accurately describe these guys that would do them justice, but what I can say, is that these guys have come up with an immensely powerful sound all their own. If you havent already picked up this record, I strongly recommend that you do."
UP AND COMING

"This group is on the cutting edge of all that is currently new and happening in music. They have an edgey punk, garage blues sound. The lyrics echo a hard driving, hard living, sensitive life of a true musician. The singer's voice is eerie and unusual, and the content of the songs is all original. The drummer is one of the best I have ever heard. This group is experiencing constant write-ups in many local and other music publications. They are definitely the group to watch and listen to this year.I understand that they will be on tour in different parts of the U.S. starting in 2003. Their next live appearance will be at the Coach House in San Juan Capistranto, California on December 19th."
