Culled from their late-1950s and early-1960s tenure on King Records, the set wisely includes a number of lesser-known songs (the ebullient "My Lord's Gonna Set Me Free," the austere "Purple Robe," the cautionary "Seek Jesus") along with age-old standards ("Working on a Building") and a number of tunes popularized by Bill Monroe ("Wicked Path of Sin," the title track).
