"The poetry is in last instance the happy result of an act of love. Stan Getz gave to these sax that well known velvet tune so warmth, sensitive and sensual, absolutely recognized even for people not necessarily expert in jazz.

His inspiration and melodic inspiration left an everlasting trace in the soul and the collective memory: Corcovado and The Girl from Ipanema by themselves are mankind patrimony because have transcended the geography to become universal themes.

Go for this CD. You will listen over and over and the music will never get old. That's the ineludible genius test.
