"This is an excellent album, very dark (see Darkest Days, Drugstore, Drowning, and Waking Up Beside You). You can see some influence of The Cure in Waking Up Beside You. The singles are great, especially Sometimes It Hurts (why didn't they do a remix of this song?) and Hopeless is an awesome b-side, one of my fave SW songs. There is a remix of "Waking Up Beside You" on the Crow 3 soundtrack that's really cool, you might wanna check that out. If you really like Stabbing Westward, you might wanna go on a manhunt for the Save Yourself single from Australia that has remixes of Save Yourself, The Thing I Hate, and On Your Way Down, or some other cool rarities, like the Jap. version of this CD or the Jap. version of WBB+P."
Metal, rock and indie, all rolled into one fantastic C.D

"Stabbing westward deserve all the praise and good comments they receive- especially about 'Darkest Days'. Pure brilliance is in every track. Even if there is (god forbid) anyone who doesn't like music- even they would enjoy this. It hasen't left my stereo since the great day I bought it."

"Stabbing Westward dives into the depths of dispair and anguish to show us the result of Darkest Days. This music is a harrowing experience to listen to with heart-pounding lyrics and bleeding lyrics. A must have for those who seek emotional ballads."
An incredible album... they just keep getting better!

"This 3rd release by Stabbing Westward is incredible! They take off from their roots of Ungod (1st album) and extend past Wither, Blister, Burn & Peel (2nd album) to make an awesome mix of alternative, industrial, and tribal beats. This CD also has the extra track "Hopeless" which is a little different for SW being that it is acoustic. You must check them out if you like angst driven, adrenaline pounding music."
