Mixtape master DJ Fade practices a different variety of record label management. In his quest to promote and protect the interests of unsigned artists, Fade uses his skills on the turntables to give shine to accomplished acts outside of the major industry labels. Soundscan Here I Come is the official debut of St. Laz, DJ Fade's poster boy. Laz brings with him his eight member rap group Pottersfield and an array of producers from the 50 that comprise his Producers Everywhere Networking (P.E.N.) collective. With solid rhymes and a wide-variety of all-original production, Soundscan is a good example of a real mixtape.
